Nearly thirty
years building
commercial.
Straightforward, honest, dependable, flexible, and highly communicative — five words we're willing to be measured against on every project.

Grew up in construction.
Stayed in it for the right reasons.
Outlook Contracting was founded in 1997. Our founder, Trent, grew up inside the construction business — he'd started a civil-engineering degree when family circumstances pushed him to leave school, go all-in on the trade, and build the company from the ground up.
For the first decade the company worked across a mix of project types. By 2008 it was clear where the work fit best: commercial. Commercial construction rewarded exactly the strengths the company had already built — clear communication, practical problem-solving, and a client-first way of running a job.
We've been commercial-only ever since. Today Outlook is a lean, experienced team delivering commercial interiors and build-outs across ten states, with the same standard we started with: treat every project like we're spending our own money.
Three chapters,
one company.
Outlook Contracting is established. Trent grew up in construction and left a civil-engineering track to support family and build the company.
The company deliberately transitions to commercial work — the space where communication, problem-solving, and flexibility matter most.
A lean, experienced commercial GC delivering tenant improvements, restaurants, offices, and specialty environments — with most work still coming from repeat clients.
Five principles.
No exceptions.
These aren't slogans on a job trailer. They're the reason most of our clients come back — and bring their next project with them.
- 01
Straightforward
We tell you what we know, what we don't, and what we recommend. No spin, no hedging.
- 02
Honest
We treat every project like we're spending our own money — because reputations outlast margins.
- 03
Dependable
Our schedules mean something. Our numbers hold. Our people show up.
- 04
Flexible
Commercial projects change. Our job is to absorb that on our side of the wall, not push it onto yours.
- 05
Communicative
You'll always know where the project stands, and what decision is on your desk.
